Ilana Silver, LCSW
Hello!
I’m Ilana (she/her), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and I want you to know that all of you is welcome here. I don’t see people as “broken” or in need of “fixing.” Instead, I believe in walking alongside you on a journey of self-reflection, healing, and growth.
Throughout my own life, I found comfort and belonging in the barn, surrounded by the sweet presence of horses. These experiences shaped my understanding of how meaningful connection and a supportive environment can help us navigate life’s challenges. Today, I strive to offer that same sense of safety—whether we’re working together outdoors with the company of horses, in the office, or through telehealth.
I draw on a blend of approaches to support your unique needs, including:
Psychodynamic Psychotherapy: Exploring how your past experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns shape your present.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR): A structured method for processing distressing memories, trauma, or phobias.
Internal Family Systems (IFS): Helping you connect with and understand the “parts” of yourself, with an emphasis on body awareness.
Reaching out for support takes courage—especially in those moments when life feels overwhelming. I commend you for taking this step and would be honored to explore how I might support you on your journey.
